Shipping Information

We currently ship to the U.S and Canada only.

All orders are fulfilled by our warehouse team in British Columbia, Canada.

We offer free shipping for orders over $80 before tax and after discounts. We ship orders using UPS, USPS, and Canada Post. 

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). 

All orders will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. 

Orders placed for Alaska, Hawaii and The Northern Territories will take longer.

We’ll send you an email confirming your order after your order has been placed, and another email with the tracking number once your order has shipped.

Contact customer service at if you’d like to change or cancel your order within 30 minutes of placing your order. Please note that once your order has been processed and shipped, we cannot modify or cancel it. Shipping charges are non-refundable. 

Returns and Exchanges

For orders placed from November 16, 2022, through December 15, 2022, enjoy extended holiday returns until January 15, 2023. Items marked as final sale are not eligible for a refund. Orders made after December 15 are subject to our regular 30-day policy.

We offer free returns on all regular orders. Items bought from the Black Friday sale or items tagged with Final Sale are not eligible for returns.

To qualify for a return, items must be unwashed and in their original condition, with tags attached. Underwear must be tried on over your own underwear, or other similar clothing. To ensure you receive a full refund, please remember to keep the tags attached, avoid snags and tears, and avoid smoke, perfume, and deodorant stains.

Items returned must be postmarked less than 30 days after the delivery date.

Once we receive the returned items at our warehouse, we'll do a quality inspection, and issue a refund to the original form of payment (including tax, but not including shipping) if the items meet return conditions.

Please note that returns from the United States might take up to 30 business days from when the items are dropped off at the Post Office to get to our warehouse in Canada.

Gift cards are non-refundable. 

If you suspect an item is suffering from a manufacturing defect, we’ll make it right. Please contact

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we’ll do our best to make it right. If you decide you want to return your order, please fill out our return form and we’ll issue a return label to print. When you're ready, arrange a pick-up with your local carrier and they’ll handle the rest. 

Please note, we are not responsible for any orders sent back without an Understance-provided shipping label. 

We will issue a refund via original form of payment within 10-20 days of receiving the item in our warehouse.

For U.S. customers, your returns must first reach our carrier's U.S. warehouse. From there, it will be sent to our Canadian warehouse to be inspected and processed by our team. This could take up to 30 days.

We are not able to process exchanges. The best way to do an exchange is to send your original item back to us for a refund and place a new order.
