Our People
Understance is a Canadian company based in British Columbia, Canada. Our team is proud to be made up of over 68 employees from 21 countries. About 85% POC, 85% of our leadership positions are occupied by women. Understance is a North American subsidiary of Shenzhen Huijie Group Co., Ltd., a global leader in lingerie manufacturing with over 27 years of expertise.

Our Factories
Our products are made by an award-winning factory with a focus on sustainable practices based in Ganzhou, China. It is primarily powered by solar energy with a two-tier water conservation system. Seamstresses and technicians are paid 20% above the regional average, enjoy paid time off, and work in a safety-first environment.
