The band on this bra is looser fitting than other understance bras. I wish there was a 28 band option so that I could order a size down because I really like this bra otherwise. It gives a nice shape.

My go-to bra!

I have pretty projected breasts that are bottom heavy and, honestly, behave like half-filled water balloons. The ABTF calculator has me at a 32 I/J, and I purchased this bra in a 32J as recommended by the Understance calculator. Upon first try-on, I was really surprised at how secure the bra felt despite having quite a slim band. To get my breast to sit in the internal sling with maximum separation, I scoop up from the sides of the bra rather than via the top/neck as is typical. It definitely gives nice lift in terms of visuals! I've also worn it out hiking (which includes birding using a 5lb camera) on some of the more recent hot days and have found it to be not suffocating like some of the other internal sling wireless bras I've tried, and *definitely* more comfortable than a sports bra. If I was in extremely hot weather I might still reach for something super minimal like my Nora FlexWire, but for most days roaming in the Canadian summer I think this bra is really great!
I will say that I could potentially get even more of a cooling effect if the cups were slightly bigger/longer which would allow for my projected breast to sit deeper rather than be distributed horizontally if that makes sense... And although I currently haven't had any issues with the bra losing elasticity or firmness at this point, I do worry that I may have issues with this in the future due to how thin the band is-- so I agree with other reviewers in that I'd like to potentially see a wider band.

Love this bra! The band is very smoothing and I feel well supported without feeling like I have bands digging into my shoulders or wires in my ribs. I wore this for a 12hr shift and was comfortable the whole time and didn’t have to worry about any slippage.
