    All my life, I struggled to find a bra that truly fit. Last week, while visiting the beautiful city of Vancouver, I discovered a boutique that really understands women and creates bras with us in mind. The woman who helped me was incredibly kind and patient. As someone with trust issues, getting a fitting was a big step—but she made me feel comfortable and seen. For the first time in my life, I was properly fitted, and I finally felt confident in my own skin. I no longer have to hide behind baggy T-shirts or sweatshirts just to feel okay.     I was so excited when I put my new bra on--it feels like it was made for me! I now realize that a big part of my struggle to find a well-fitting bra is that standard bras are made for taller women, which makes for underwire cups that cut into the armpit area of us shorter queens. Understance is the first company I have found that also designs bras for women like me (5'1). Of course, now that I have finally found a bra company that works, our malevolent idiot president has cut off access through his deranged tariff policy. Hopefully he doesn't last as long as this bra does.
